Prasan Gateway International School (PGIS) is a boutique international school in Chalong, Phuket, offering an international education from Nursery through Year 8.

We believe school fees should be clear and easy for families to understand. Below, you will find our 2026–27 tuition fees, enrolment fees, what is included in tuition, payment options and our current enrolment offer.

2026–27 Tuition Fees

Our tuition fees are set according to year group and are shown in the fee table below. A 30% tuition discount is currently available for eligible new enrolments, subject to the terms of the current enrolment offer.

For families considering an international school in Phuket, we aim to provide straightforward information about the total cost of joining PGIS, with no need to request a separate fee schedule to understand the main costs.

 

Tuition Fees by Year Group

PGIS tuition fees vary by year group and reflect the curriculum, specialist teaching, learning resources and programmes provided at each stage of a student's education.

Early Years — Ages 2–5

Tuition Fee: ฿240,000–฿260,000 per year

 

Early Years students follow our International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC), with learning designed around the developmental needs of young children.

Tuition includes the Early Years programme, Physical Education, Art, Music and our Chinese Immersion programme.

 

Primary School — Ages 5–11

Tuition Fee: ฿310,000–฿340,000 per year

Primary students follow the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) alongside our English, Mathematics and Science programmes and specialist subjects.

Tuition includes core academic subjects, Physical Education, Art, Music and the Chinese Immersion programme, which currently provides 4 classes of Chinese learning per week (approx 190min).

Lower Secondary — Years 7–8

Tuition Fee: See the fee table above for the current year-group rates.

Our Lower Secondary programme provides a broad international education with Oxford International Curriculum resources, specialist subject teaching, Physical Education and opportunities for academic and personal development.

The programme is designed to provide a strong foundation for students' future secondary qualifications and academic pathways.

Eligible new students enrolling before December 2026 can receive:

  • 30% off tuition fees

  • Endowment Fee of ฿50,000 waived

The 30% tuition discount is applied to the published tuition fees shown above. Students receiving the 30% tuition discount are not eligible for additional sibling or referral discounts.

Monthly payment plans are also available, with a 10% service charge applied to the monthly payment arrangement.

Additional Fees

Entrance & Placement:

 4,500 THB (non-refundable) 

The Entrance & Placement Fee is a one-time, non-refundable fee payable when an application is submitted. It covers the administrative work involved in reviewing the application, assessing previous school records and, where appropriate, arranging an assessment to determine the appropriate year-group placement.

Endownment:

50,000 THB (one-time payment) (Waived for enrollments before December 2026)

The Endowment Fee is a one-time contribution associated with joining PGIS and supports the continued development of the school's educational facilities, resources and learning environment. The ฿50,000 Endowment Fee is currently waived for eligible new enrolments completed before December 2026.

Security Deposit:

30,000 THB (refundable) 

A refundable Security Deposit is payable when a student enrols at PGIS. The deposit is held during the student's enrolment and may be used to settle any outstanding school fees, damage or other unpaid obligations in accordance with the school's terms and conditions.

The Security Deposit is refundable after the student has completed at least one full academic year, provided that the family has given at least 60 days' written notice of withdrawal and all outstanding fees and other obligations have been settled.

Subject to these conditions, the remaining deposit will be returned to the family following the student's withdrawal from PGIS.

Tuition includes the student's core academic programme and the specialist subjects and programmes provided as part of their year group.

Depending on year group, this includes Physical Education, swimming as part of the PE programme, Art, Music and Chinese Immersion. Most school-organised field trips are also included.

The current enrolment offer also includes lunch for eligible new students.

Other ECAs are available at an additional cost, except for the included after-school Chinese programme.

Q3: Are there any one-time enrolment fees?

Yes. New students pay a ฿4,500 Entrance & Placement Fee.

This is a one-time, non-refundable fee covering the administration involved in processing the application, reviewing previous school records and, where appropriate, arranging assessment and year-group placement.

A ฿50,000 Endowment Fee also normally applies when a student joins PGIS. However, this fee is currently waived for eligible new enrolments completed before December 2026.

Q4: Is the Security Deposit refundable?

Yes. A ฿30,000 Security Deposit is payable when a student enrols.

The deposit is held by PGIS during the student's enrolment and may be applied against outstanding fees, damage or other unpaid obligations in accordance with the school's terms and conditions.

Subject to the applicable withdrawal and settlement conditions, the remaining deposit is refundable when the student leaves the school.
