About Prasan Gateway International School (PGIS)
History and Founding Vision
Founded in February 2025, Prasan Gateway International School (PGIS) was established to provide high-quality international education in Phuket for families seeking a nurturing, academically focused, and globally minded learning environment. Located in Chalong, Phuket, PGIS was created to meet the growing demand for an international school that combines strong academic standards with personalized care and multicultural understanding.
The founders envisioned a school where students from diverse cultural backgrounds could learn together, develop meaningful connections, and gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to succeed in an increasingly interconnected world. From its inception, PGIS has focused on creating a welcoming community where every child is known, valued, and supported.
Curriculum
Our curriculum is taught in English, based on the IPC and English National Curriculum, providing a world-class education focused on critical thinking, creativity, and global citizenship. We also offer an optional after-school Mandarin Immersion Program that enhances Chinese proficiency through interactive learning, fostering cross-cultural communication skills for a multilingual and multicultural world.
